How to Reach From Delhi to Corbett National Park

Delhi, the prime job hunting place for Indian citizens and is the capital of India. The distance from Delhi to Corbett is nearly 235 km and it takes about 4 hrs 30 minutes to reach by bus. There are regular bus services available from Maharana Pratap Bus terminal, Delhi. These buses are affordable and experience a comfortable journey. Bus fares ranges from Rs. 300 to 800 depending upon the type of bus chosen by the tourist.

Travelers can also hire a car or taxi and then the estimate cost will come under Rs. 6000 to 1000 for a round trip. Both types of communication run on National Highway 24, which is considered the best route to reach Corbett. NH 24 will take you through some important places such as Indirapuram, Hapur, Moradabad, Kashipur and Ramnagar.

By Train

Direct communication from Delhi to Corbett by train is not available. The closest railway station to Corbett is Ramnagar. Once after reaching Ramnagar, travelers can easily reach the park traveling a distance of 51 km by a rented car.

There are several train services available, those run between the two cities namely ANVT KGM SHT No: 12040 at 6:15 am from Anand Vihar Railway Station that reaches at 9:33 am within 3 hours 18 minutes, Utr Sampark Kranti Exp No: 15035 at 16:00 pm from Old Delhi Railway Station that reaches Ramnagar at 20:35 pm within 4 hours and 7 minutes and Ranikhet Exp No: 15013 at 22:40 pm from the similar railway station that reaches 4:55 am within 6 hours 15 minutes.

By Air

The domestic airport of the city frequently flies to Pantnagar Airport, which is the closest airport to Corbett National Park. Pantnagar is well connected with some major cities in India therefore, tourist can easily reach there. Near the airport people can easily get taxi in a rent basis which provides direct communication to Jim Corbett.

Months from November to Mid-June is considered the best time to visit the Corbett Park and best for wildlife safari because in this season the park gets loaded with several migratory birds, which are rarely found in any other forests.
